Saskia's early Birthday Party

Saskia had an early Birthday Party as we were going to be away in SA.

September Interschool Sports and other activities

Sivan and Saskia participated in this years interschools. Sivan came 2nd in the 60m race. Unfortunately Saskia is not as fast as brother Sivan and didn't make it onto the podium.

Here we are out on a Cycle around the Swan River. Saskia managed to keep up OK after a 10km ride!



Father's Day! What a treat...

Sivan turns 9 !

Sivan celebrated his 9th birthday with some of his friends - a sleepover at home!

Saskia's Merit Award / Student Achievement Reports

It makes us glad when our children receive awards for their progress - Well done Saskia for being a 'conscientious and caring' class member !

Both Sivan and Saskia's 'Student Achievement Reports' arrived today and again, we are proud of their progress and the good report received!

The Bunnies did not work out - how about Guinea Pigs!

We went for a drive this morning and "surprised" the kids with 2 Guinea Pigs. Saskia has been talking about these critters for some time now, even hinting by getting library books about them! I present to you Pig 1 and Pig 2 (they must still be named):

Crazy Hair day at Awana!

Sivan and Saskia enjoyed a crazy hair day at their usual Awana Friday evening club

Sandy Cape - Family Get-Away - Anzac Day (25April)

We took a few days off and drove up to Sandy Cape, north of Jurien. We bought a shower tent, complete with electric pump, as this site has only "long drop dunnies"! When we get the chance, we take a dip in the ocean. Here the boys take advantage of this opportunity!
Here (and below) are a couple of pics of the beach and surroundings. Last time we came here, we were covered by flies and we decided to come back and see what it looks like without these pesky creatures. It was awesome!

We had the best weather one could ask for, which made it worth the while!!

We took a 5km hike along the beach. We had some complaints from the kids, but we made it.

At last - Citizens of this great country!

AVi & Jeanette's recent visit to SA

Avi & Jeanette spent a couple of weeks in SA with family and friends. Here are some pics taken with the Le Roux's (Carina, Riaan, Danie and Trudie) prior to their departure back to Turkey.

March pics and Easter Holiday in Albany (Denmark, Western Australia)

Sivan built his first little robot "bug" and very proud of "Selby".

Saskia begged to have her ears pierced...I gave in...

We went to Albany for Easter (Camping) and met up with Roelfie, Ilze and Hayzel. We did some sight seeing together. We also took the Kids to Whale World in Albany. This is a very beautiful part of Western Australia.
